We are doers, achievers, multi-taskers, and dreamers.
We grew tired of trying to find the handbags that not only made our lives easier, but looked like the gorgeous bags we were lusting after. We took matters into our own hands and developed a collection that was both functional and luxurious. Our goal was to make the bags modern and effortlessly cool so that they could compliment your every activity. We also were conscious about adding very little branding to our designs... we want your bags to be YOURS through and through.
WHO IS THE HAIST GIRL?
She is someone who enjoys the craziness of life. She works hard and plays hard. She is strong, sophisticated, modern, and effortlessly cool.
WHAT DOES HAIST MEAN?
Pronounced Hay-st. Each letter represents the first letter of the first name of everybody in my family. My family is everything to me. They are also the reason why I need functional handbags in my life!
WE STAND BY OUR PRODUCTS
We are obsessed with quality. That is why we found the most talented artisans to create our collection here in the US. We are able to visit our manufacturing facility often and oversee the manufacturing process from start to finish. The initial HAIST collection of bags are made using American Natural Grained leather. Because of its natural nature, each skin is unique in its own specific coloring and markings. The leather is durable, but may be susceptible to normal wear and tear. These variations in surface are not viewed as defects, but rather give your bag more character.
Manufacturing defects are assessed on a case by case basis. We will do our best to make things right. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE? WHAT ARE THEY MADE OUT OF?
Our products are currently made in the US in New York City. Our bags are made using US cow hides tanned domestically, resulting in an extremely high quality leather.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BAGS?
In order to maintain the original state of the product, clean the surface with a soft cotton cloth. For stains, our best recommendation would be to bring your bag to a trusted leather cleaner for assistance. Try to avoid exposure to water and moisture. Store your bags in a dry dark place to prevent fading. Most of our bags ship in a cotton dust bag which is the perfect way to store your bag. The natural beauty of the leather will enhance over time.
